At Rare Earth, we determined that on long centre horizontal conveyors, the rolling resistance power lost due to the indentation effect can reach up to 61% of the total system power. Therefore, we designed our conveyor belts in a way that they provide lower resistance while rolling over the support idlers.
We use specialized bottom rubber compounds, so that our belts can help in reducing total system power (based on field measurement test). Our belts reduce the power consumption up to 12% and this saving will continue year after year resulting in lower operating cost.

Out of the entire range, ST5400 possesses highest tensile strength of 5400 N/mm, maximum weight of 496 kg/m, highest pitch of 17mm and maximum work strength of belt measuring 770 N/mm.
